The events unfold in 1899 on the territory 1win of several fictional US states. After an unsuccessful robbery, a gang of experienced robbers flees from justice. They are desperate: there are more and more lawyers, and fewer and fewer safe places away from civilization. Charismatic leader Dutch van der Linde convinces his colleagues 1win not to lose hope. The main character Arthur Morgan believes in Dutch's ideals and follows him. But the gang does not yet know what harsh trials lie ahead.
