In the 51st century, people leave Earth 1win to escape from alien invaders. By the end of the 12th millennium, the deserted planet continues to be protected by androids abandoned by mankind. They do not fully understand why they exist, and blindly follow long-standing orders. During one of the outings, androids 2B and 9S discover 1win that robots abandoned on Earth have begun to copy the behavior of humans. Machines are trying to reproduce by imitating sex and raise young. Moreover, humanoid individuals have appeared among the invaders, who plan to create a new civilization on the ruins of the last one. The 2B and 9S command perceives this as a threat and orders to deal with it.
